Andrey Pavlov holds Ph.D. in history. He is Professor at Saint-Petersburg State University and the Chair ofthe master?s program "Strategic and Arms Control Studies" at the School of International Relations. His research interests include inter-allied relations and Russia?s strategyduring World War Ias well as contemporarynuclear arms control regimes, problems of the strategic stabilityand the Russian national security policy.

He is a member of the Organizing Committee for the biannual International Conference "First World War, Versailles System and Contemporary World".
