Elli Lemonidou is Assistant Professor of Modern and Contemporary Greek and European History at the Department of Cultural Environment and New Technologies Management, University of Patras (Greece).
Areas of her recent research interest include
a) History of the First World War,
b) Public History, especially the relation between academic and public history, as well as the links between official history, national identity and collective memories and
c) History Didactics.
She has published many articles in English, French and Greek historical reviews and collective volumes.
The title of her latest book is: History on the Big Screen. History, Cinema and National Identities (Taxideftis, Athens 2017).
